We are seeking a Project Manager with strong leadership, contract management and operational delivery experience. You will be technically minded with a wealth of knowledge in multiple civil disciplines, contributing to the positive dynamic of our fast-paced, high-performing team.

Role Overview
As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the comprehensive delivery of civil construction projects. This role entails coordinating resources, materials, budgetary considerations, safety protocols, and quality assurance measures, while simultaneously identifying potential project risks and opportunities.
Your position will require direct client engagement to cultivate robust relationships, while collaborating closely with our subcontractors to ensure their contributions align with our organisational values.
Additionally, you will interact with various divisions within the organisation to enhance strategy, communication, and coordination, increasing productivity and streamlining processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop contract management plans, programmes, budgets and methodologies.
- Coordinate design queries, RFI, approvals, permits and contract administration.
- Ensure compliance with Contract specifications, H&S regulations, Environmental controls and Quality assurance requirements.
- Identify project constraints, risks, opportunities, and implement mitigation measures.
- Manage resources, utilisation, staging and sequencing.
- Lead coordination with Site Engineers, Foreman and Subcontractors.
- Plan and prepare daily work fronts with Site Engineers, Foreman and Subcontractors.
- Ensure works are delivered to specifications, standards and contract requirements.
- Track costs, productivity and financial performance against targets.
- Prepare and negotiate variations, claims, EOT’s, progress claims, and cost to complete.
- Maintain strong relationships with local bodies, clients, subcontractors, suppliers & other key stakeholders
- Lead and develop Supervisors, Site Engineers and Foremen.
- Delegate tasks, monitor performance, and provide coaching and technical guidance.
- Support workforce planning, capability development and recruitment where needed.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years’ experience delivering civil infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of civil construction methodologies (earthworks, drainage, roading, utilities, structures).
- Proven experience with project budgeting, forecasting, and commercial administration.
- Competence in MS Project and project management/reporting systems.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
